@nafaidni That is what is so beautiful about the Hindu religion. There are many different forms of it, too; something for everyone.

And a video trying to prove God's nonexistence claimed that the only two things in the Universe are matter and energy, and if one is neither, then it does not exist.Yet how does consciousness exist if it is neither? That, my friend, is the basis of the Hindu thought that all consciousnesses are parts of God. For neither are material in any way, but truly do exist. While Krishna does not mix with the Universe, preventing us from touching or sensing him, the whole Universe rests upon Him.

And yet, why can you even realize yourself seeing these words? The reactions in your brain and body obviously cause you to react accordingly to it, but why do you even feel these reactions? Our brains are fundamentally just chemical reactions like any other. Why do they form our consciousness, though? How can they? What law of chemical reactions can instigate consciousness? Consciousness is not a form of energy or matter, yet it exists. We know it exists, because we know, therefore it exists.

When you explain how you read these words, you should register:The black letters are relative dark spots where light does not reflect. The white around it is the combination of all energies of light. These enter your eyes and are perceived by rod cells (I believe, or perhaps these are for colour) and nerve impulses sent to your brain register it as an image. The intelligence which we developed through evolution too complex to ever explain in a comment registers it to meaning.

The majority of the postulates of Hindu thought can be proven mostly through analogy and self-realization. The fact you think, therefore you are, also means that you cannot be limited to the physical world. Conscience is "con" "science" for a reason. Science cannot prove why we have perspective, why you can read the words I am typing, and that I can see myself type these words.

@terransage I felt the same connection between Christ and Krishna, similar to your case, the only difference is, I am born and raised Hindu and we still have a picture christ and krishna next to eachother :)
